I’ve been drawing since I was a kid. I’ve watched my father do it my whole life. I’ve been around art, sculpture, musicians, and anything else you can think of. I used to think my daddy could do it better. When he stopped drawing, I wanted to show to him and Myself I could keep the artistic flame burnin. I want show how important it was to me that he showed me that he showed me art.I can’t quite put these feelings into words, but I want to express them without all the hard conversations.
Artist's Statement
My art is a reflection of my fascination with beauty found in unconventional places and the natural world. Through sculpture, I aim to capture the raw, authentic essence of life and nature, highlighting its hidden and often overlooked beauty. Growing up surrounded by art, sculpture, and music, I developed a deep appreciation for creative expression as a means of emotional release and understanding. My work is an extension of this, serving as a way to communicate feelings that are difficult to put into words. I believe art has the power to rearrange and heal the mind, offering viewers a space to connect with their own emotions. This collection marks my first sculpture gallery, a significant step in my journey as an artist. I hope that when people experience my work, they see what they want to see and feel what I have poured into each piece. an honest expression of emotion and a celebration of natural beauty
