Giselle Benitez grew up in Southern California, in the Inland Empire/San Bernardino County. Benitez graduated from Chaffey High School in May of 2021. At Chaffey, she actively participated in the Academic Decathlon and helped create costumes and sets for the theater production on her campus. Benitez is pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts concentration in Graphic Design at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. In her time at Bradley Benitez was a part of several different organization,s such as ACBU(Activities Council, Bradley University) as their graphic designer; K18(kay-one-eight) as a social media chair, vice president, and then president; Bradley University’s Residential Living as an residential advisor then a Hall director. Benitez has been granted the Mendez and Kittle-Kamp Families Endowed Scholarship as well. Benitez wants to pursue a career in the music industry, working closely with musicians to be able to visually express what their music means to them. All in all, Benitez wants to use graphic design and many other art forms to communicate the non-physical in a physical/visual form to all different types of people.
